Our Story
Founded in 2023, Bridges Learning Center began with a simple belief: every child deserves an education that truly sees them.
What started as a small, one-room schoolhouse model in Casa Grande has grown into a place where K-8 students with moderate to severe autism can learn in ways that honor their individuality.
At Bridges, we use a neurodiversity-affirming approach that prioritizes emotional regulation to root foundational skills in reading, writing, and math while also practicing life skills, social connection, and independence. Many of our learners use AAC devices or need adapted methods, and we design instruction that meets them where they are.
Our school is intentionally small so that each student receives individualized attention. Teachers partner with families, celebrate progress, and create opportunities for every child to thrive. We believe in community as much as academics—building friendships, developing confidence, and preparing students for a future where their abilities are recognized and valued.
Bridges is more than a school. It’s a place of belonging, a support system for families, and a community where every child is given the chance to grow.
