More About Bridges Learning Center

Welcome to Bridges Learning Center, where we are committed to providing a safe and supportive learning environment for students with disabilities. Our founder, an experienced teacher with a Bachelor of Science in General Education and Special Education, was inspired to pursue a career in teaching after adopting her son with Autism. Witnessing firsthand the challenges that special needs students face, our founder's mission is to make a positive impact on their lives by providing the best possible education.

Our team is continuously striving to expand their knowledge and expertise in the field of special education, drawing from both their teaching experience and personal experience as caregivers of children with special needs. We deeply understand the unique challenges and obstacles that students and their families face on a daily basis and we are driven by our dedication to help them succeed.

At Bridges Learning Center, we believe in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment where every student feels valued and respected. Our founder's favorite teaching strategy is the use of modeling, prompting, and praise, which has been proven to build students' confidence, increase their engagement in learning, and promote positive behavior.

We are committed to using a collaborative approach to individualize our students' education, incorporating input from their parents, therapists, and the students themselves. This approach enables us to tailor our teaching to the specific needs and interests of each student, making their education more meaningful and effective. We believe that every student has the potential to learn and grow, and we are dedicated to helping each and every one of them reach their full potential.

At Bridges Learning Center, we welcome caregivers of school-aged children with special needs to join our community and embark on a journey of growth and learning together. With our team's dedication, experience, and commitment, we are confident that our students can thrive in a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

“If they can't learn the way we teach, we teach the way they learn.”
